TREASURE MAPS

A Tool for Creating Your Future.

What if we are all meant to do what we secretly dream about?

What would you ask if you knew you could have anything?

How far could you go?

What could you achieve?

You probably don’t think of it this way but you are an artist co-creating your life.

Each of us has an inner voice that speaks to us, urging us to live a larger and more joyous life. Being the artist of your life requires listening to and learning to trust that voice. This is the same process artists use when they are working on their artwork. They have a goal in mind of what they want to make and then they listen to their inner guide to tell them what color to choose and what tool to pick up to make the next mark

Visualization is a tool used to imagine the future the way you want it. Neuroscientists now believe that if we visualize what we want to achieve we are much more likely to accomplish our goals. According to research using brain imagery, visualization works because neurons in our brains, those electrically excitable cells that transmit information, interpret imagery as equivalent to a real-life action. When we visualize, the brain generates an impulse that tells our neurons to “perform” the movement. This creates a new neural pathway — clusters of cells in our brain that work together to create memories or learned behaviors — that primes our body to act in a way consistent to what we imagined. Athletes have been using this process to practice seeing themselves win a race at record speed and it has been proven to work.

In this workshop we will use visualization as a way to practice and change ourselves into being the people we want to be, having the lives we dream of.

We each need to see ourselves as a contributing member of the world we live in, to feel that our abilities are being used to the fullest extent possible. Sometimes when its quiet we hear our inner voice, it says wouldn’t it be nice if … After which a million reasons come up telling us why we either can’t have or do the thing we were day dreaming about. But what if that urging to be ourselves, to use our innate talents is what is needed in the world. Don’t we have an obligation to find a way to give the world our unique gifts?

I know from experience that when I am doing something that I love and that uses my specific talents it doesn’t feel like work, it’s just me doing what I love to do. That’s when all sorts of things start to happen for me, opportunities that I never expected or could have dreamed of just show up moving me forward faster than I could have imagined.

The Treasure Map class is an inner search to discover who and what you really care about and then make a visual image of that vision to remind you of who you really are, to help keep you on track as you move through all the opportunities presented to you each day. This will help you decide what direction to go in and what things to say yes or no to. It’s a map to help you create the path to realize your dreams and a way to quiet your inner critic.

During this one day workshop you will create a visual representation of your dreams.  I will be leading you through some guided visualizations and we will be creating some ceremonies to celebrate your desires into being. Mostly it will be a workshop filled with creativity, art making, magic and love. All taking place online in the comfort of your home.

Here is what you’ll be doing:

  1. Getting in touch with what you truly want.
  2. Gaining the support of your subconscious mind so you’re not fighting yourself.
  3. Identifying and eliminating any obstacles that might get in your way.
  4. Connecting to intuitive guidance to help you along the way.
  5. Consciously choosing to create your dreams and what actions you will take to make your dreams real.
  6. Surrendering control, allowing the universe to step in and work it’s magic.
  7. Declaring your dream as real. (Words create everything, because words are the embodiment of thought.)
  8. Lastly you will learn how to stay true to your dream so you can stay with your dream until it manifests.
  9. Creating a visual representation of your desires so you can see yourself having the life you want

That’s it 9 simple and fun steps to having the life you really want.

So, here’s how it works…

  • Before the workshop begins you will collect magazines and look on the web for images that represent the things you want to have in your ideal life.
  • During the workshop you will get in touch with your inner guidance and explore what you want your life to look like. Then you will do some exercises to determine what medium, colors and materials you’ll need to create a visual representation that best represents your dream life. You will then draw, paint, write and collage your ideal into a beautiful image expressing your hopes and dreams for the future.
  •  You’ll present your Treasure Map to the group and tell us about your perfect life declaring your vision as already on the way.
  • The group will create a ceremony to help you surrender your vision to the universe and ask for help in making it real.
  • Then you’ll look to see if there are any issues or beliefs you have that might get in the way of your success and do some exercises to remove them and create more positive messages in their place.
  • Finally we will put plans in place to make sure you will be taking all the necessary steps to make your dreams real. We’ll do a closing ceremony and then say good-bye.

Certified Money and Business Coach

I think of myself more as a self-love coach than as a money coach. I help my clients see their value, so they come to believe they are worthy of more. Sure, I also teach them to make spending plans and how to get out of debt and save. More importantly, I help them to see that by taking care of their money they can better take care of themselves and the people they love.

Self-love? What does that have to do with managing money and financial success, you may ask?

Well, everything.
