Create Financial Abundance in Self-Employment

Grow your Income, your business skills and your Impact

A group to support you in the financial growth you have been striving for

You may be struggling with unpredictable income cycles, being able to pay yourself regularly or afford health insurance for yourself and your employees, saving for taxes and retirement, and investing back into your business to grow and keep innovating.

Many entrepreneurs have inner conflicts about what to charge for their services and products and have difficulty asking for the price they know they should. Then there is the problem of not fully understanding exactly what they offer their customers and how valuable their work really is let alone how to communicate that value to their prospective clients.

The way we see ourselves and the thoughts we have are at the root of why we struggle financially in business. It can be exhausting not knowing when you will have enough money, time or energy for your personal life so waiting for that magic moment isn’t realistic. We need to start living our dreams now.

Most of us want to share our gifts with others and sometimes we feel we ought to give too much and only charge what we believe to be an “affordable” fee. We can do this though without sacrificing our own desired financial abundance or compromising our values. It helps no one to sacrifice ourselves in the process.

Are you earning at your potential? Do you know what your earning potential actually is? And do you know how much money you need to earn to live the life you want?

In this group you will identify and let go of the old patterns, thoughts and beliefs that have made it impossible for you to ask for, receive, and expect the income you want and deserve. Dive into the subconscious fears that keep you from earning more and understand how your past experiences with money affect your thoughts, behaviors and attitudes about money and work in the present.

If you are ready to:

    • Earn more money
    • Know when and how to raise your prices, and communicate this to clients with ease
    • Love your work AND earn great money!
    • Develop a plan so you know exactly what you need to do to increase your income
    • Develop a firm confidence in your worth, making it easy to ask for—and negotiate—what you deserve.
    • Change your mind about who you are and what you are capable of
    • Get organized around your money with a personal and business spending plan
    • Increase the number of clients you have and the number of people in your audience
    • Strategically plan for your financial success
    • If necessary, tackle your debt
    • Know exactly how much money you need to live your ideal life

This group is for those who either have a small business or are considering going into business either full or part time. We will work on Money. How to think about it, manage it and attract it. We will also be looking at how to attract clients, increase sales and how to plan for your business success. Every other session we will be working on a different topic. So, in a way this group is like a class but so much more, there will be time for questions, group input and feedback, plus time to get the work done.

This group is for Creative Entrepreneurs. Those who are passionate about what they do and want to start or grow a business doing what they love. They are confident in their skills in their field but don’t know much about how to run a business or how to make the money they desire.

The group will meet every week. It is designed to be part class, part working group, a support group and an accountability structure. We will be covering a variety of topics throughout the program.

Including how to:

    • determine your target audience and how to reach them
    • communicate with potential customers in a way that will enroll them to buy your products and services
    • plan for and track your financial success
    • set up systems to market your products and services
    • set things up so they run behind the scenes and promote you without you having to do anything
    • grow your client base
    • determine what to do yourself and what to delegate
  • We will be working on these aspects of your business during our sessions so each month you will have set aside four hours to work on your business. At times you will be assigned a partner to work on a task with. You will have the ears of the group to practice your sales conversations with and to give you feedback about the copy you create for your social media, posts, newsletters, podcasts, or however you plan on promoting yourself.

It’s a place to be challenged to raise your prices and to create more products and services that assist your clients.

So, here’s how it works…

The group will meet every Monday from at (5:00pm PT time – 8:00pm ET) for 1 hour.

The 1st and 3rd Mondays will be Topic Sessions where you will learn a new skill to attract clients, plan for your success or manage your money and have your questions answered.

The 2nd and 4th sessions will be Get it Done Days.  This will be a scheduled work time to complete your projects together with the other members of the group. Kind of like study hall was supposed to be  when you were in school making sure that the work gets done.

The Topic Sessions will be recorded so if you need to miss one you will be able to catch up. At times there will be homework. This group is to facilitate action. It is an accountability group so you can get your marketing written, write that book you’ve been talking about or get your website completed. Each week you will commit to getting something done during the week and then we will check in with you to see if you have been able to complete that task. No shame here, if you can’t complete it we will simply look at why and see if there is additional support you need.

I will send you a link for the Zoom meetings a day ahead of time and a reminder the day of.

You will also receive handouts for each of the Topic Sessions which include templates for you to fill in during the session. That way all your materials will be complete and organized.

In between classes you can meet with your classmates on a private Facebook page. That is where you can try out your marketing messages, the name of your company and tagline, website copy and blog ideas to get feedback and support.

Sheryl Kosovski

Money and Business Coach. Artist.

I think of myself more as a self-love coach than as a money coach. I help my clients see their value, so they come to believe they are worthy of more. Sure, I also teach them to make spending plans and how to get out of debt and save. More importantly, I help them to see that by taking care of their money they can better take care of themselves and the people they love.

Self-love? What does that have to do with managing money and financial success, you may ask?

Well, everything.

We worked with Sheryl during a time of many transitions: Dane was finishing grad school and getting ready to launch his career as a teacher, and we were planning to get married in a few months. We had been living together for several years but we had not combined our finances, and we needed to figure out how to do so. Sheryl helped us in a number of important ways: we figured out how to create one budget for the two of us, how to manage our debt and keep out of trouble with borrowing, and, perhaps most importantly, what each of us was bringing to the marriage when it comes to history with money and feelings about getting, spending, and saving it.

A year and a half later, we are collaborating beautifully on our budget, have no credit card debt, and have been able to start saving toward the mutual goals we identified with Sheryl. We are so grateful we had the opportunity to learn from her!

I had the pleasure of attending the financial class offered to staff members by my company this past spring offered by Sheryl Kosovski.  I found Sheryl’s class to be an invaluable support in becoming more aware of my finances, planning for my future, and improving my financial health. I feel very grateful that my agency gave me the opportunity to take this course and highly recommend it to anyone looking to better understand and manage their finances.

Prior to the class beginning, I would often avoid thinking about or looking at my finances because it was anxiety-provoking for me. This was not simply a budgeting and tracking course, but so much more. I now have a budget and realistically plan for my future. I am much more aware of my finances and where my money is going, which has greatly decreased my anxiety surrounding my finances. I have also learned a great deal about myself, my relationship with money, my sense of value, and how I would like to be living my future. I appreciate the opportunity to have been able to take this course and work directly with Sheryl. I think this course, and her other services, are vital resources for anyone, particularly those who are working with limited financial resources.

At the ripe old, but healthy ages of 85 & 88, we suddenly realized we were outliving our Money. As we were well into our retirement years, my wife and I were getting increasingly concerned about whether our savings and investments would see us through the rest of our lives and our grown children were becoming very concerned about us as well. We had no idea how to measure our current spending against our long-term needs.

Sheryl helped us focus on the problem and gave us tools to budget and monitor our expenses.  I can honestly say that this is the first time that either of us has learned to Budget. She is teaching us to live within our boundaries.  Sheryl is easy to work with and has substantially lifted our burden of uncertainty.

“I have been working with Sheryl for over 3 years now. Prior to working with her, I did not understand the value of financial planning and monthly budgeting. The software program she typically uses Money Minder is very user friendly. Sheryl is very compassionate and understanding of one’s needs. She has gone above and beyond in helping me get my finances in check. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to improve their financial health!”

“I met Sheryl quite a few years ago, somewhere between 55 and 60 years old. Sheryl offered financial literacy—a new concept to me. We moved through obstacles and highs as well as lows (unemployment). It has been a journey and Sheryl provided a guiding light, a steady force, and a compassionate heart. Sheryl offers insights and provides resources. She encourages self-discovery while constantly making available concrete tools such as a “budget-like” website to use and books that tend to empower, rather than shame.”
